LSA completed a three-phase project for a bus station at the Crossroads Center - a 450,000 s.f. regional shopping mall. Phase one included a bus circulation plan and preliminary station design study. Bus and passenger circulation were successfully integrated in to the existing commercial center, and the station will be an information point for passengers. Phase two involved working with Metro Bus, the Center, and the MnDOT to secure additional parking for the center on excess highway right-of-way in exchange for access to and construction of the transit station. The third phase completed final design and documentation of the station - working with remodeling plans for the Center - and construction administration services.
