In 2007 the City of Stillwater engaged LSA to design a parking facility for its historic downtown district. The site is nestled amongst properties valued as structures contributing to the City’s federally listed downtown historic district. Consequently, keen interest has been focused on the parking ramp’s façade and its required contribution to the existing 19th Century context.

The project includes the design and construction administration for a 300 space parking ramp. The ramp will serve patrons of the Lowell Inn, tourism to historic downtown, employees of local establishments and local churches. The ramp will be equipped with fully automated pay stations, and will operate on a cashier-less system with parking control gates, readers, ticket dispensers, and intercoms to accommodate both hourly and contract parkers.
