This project transformed a marginal site into a thriving transit oriented development. Serving nearly 2,000 riders daily, significant impact has been made to the area's congestion. The flagship station includes SMTC offices, transfer platform, parking, pedestrian plaza with regional trail connections, and direct bus access to the highway system. The station provides public meeting rooms and is centrally located within the site among restaurants, retail and housing. LSA provided transit demand analysis, site selection, planning, design, and construction administration; and secured and administered federal funding.
